Potsdam is now known far beyond Brandenburg's and Berlin's borders for its grace and attractiveness. Its cultural landscapes were inscribed by UNESCO in 1990 as the largest ensemble of German World Heritage Sites on the list of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage of Humanity. As the former residential city of the kings of Prussia, with its unique palace and park complexes, the city also impresses in the present with its exclusive residential qualities.
Potsdam consists of 2/3 green areas and the waters of the Havel. The living conditions are highly appreciated. Thus, since the year 2000, the population has grown from under 130,000 to 180,000 today. The urban life of the metropolis of Berlin and the advantages of Potsdam are causing more and more German citizens to relocate to the capital of Brandenburg.
The charming village of Klein Glienicke is idyllically situated at the foot of the Wannsee Böttcherberg between the Griebnitzsee and the Glienicker Lake, southeast of the Glienicker Bridge. Klein Glienicke enjoys great popularity due to its tranquility, water and wooded surroundings, but the easy access to the city centers of Potsdam and Berlin is also very attractive. The district is characterized by a generous and open development with representative single-family houses and historic villas.
The unique building ensemble is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, only a few steps from the Glienicke hunting lodge. The Golf- und Land-Club Berlin-Wannsee (approx. 3.5 km) and the surrounding and very charming leisure and recreation possibilities illustrate the exclusive residential location.
The connection to the public transport network is ensured by a bus line that runs along Königstraße, which is about 350 m away, and provides a quick and convenient connection to the Wannsee S-Bahn station. Babelsberg train station is about 2.5 km away and offers fast connections to the city centers of Potsdam and Berlin. It is about 20 km (about 25 minutes by car) to Kurfürstendamm in Berlin and 3.5 km to the historic city center of Potsdam. Facilities for daily needs can be found along Königstraße in Berlin-Wannsee and in Potsdam-Babelsberg.
